Start with MCG if: You're risk-averse, want to validate the system works for your specific business first, or your buyer research is concentrated on Google Maps. You can upgrade to Omnipresence at any time if the Maps layer is working and you want to add Search + AI coverage.

Start with Omnipresence if: You're confident your customers research on multiple platforms (Google.com, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini), your buyer research cycle is longer than 48 hours (common in higher-ticket services), or you prefer to build all four platforms from day 1 rather than upgrading layer-by-layer.

Neither is wrong. Both unlock the full system eventually. The $200/mo delta between them for 3-4 months (while you're deciding) is small.

Each platform has its own timeline because the signal types differ:

Google Maps (GBP CTR + DriveForge): Profile view lift in 2-3 weeks. Direction requests and Popular Times data populate in 3-4 weeks. Map pack position typically begins moving in weeks 5-8.

Google Search (SERP CTR): Impression and CTR lift in GSC in 2-3 weeks. Ranking movement typically in 60-90 days. Competitive SERPs (legal, medical, finance) can take 90-120 days.

AI Platforms: Gemini referral traffic typically appears in 15-25 days (fastest). Perplexity in 15-35 days. ChatGPT in 30-60 days (its training cadence is slower). Consistent multi-platform AI referrals typically by day 60-90.

Helpful for most components, required for two:

SERP CTR requires a website — it's optimizing your Google.com rankings, which means your site needs to exist and already rank (even on page 2-3) for some relevant keywords. If you have no website or your site is less than 3 months old with no rankings, SERP CTR can't do meaningful work yet.

AI Platform Optimization works best with a website because AI platforms cite sources — if your brand has no online footprint, the AI has nothing to point users to. Even a basic website with your services and contact info is usually enough.

If you don't have a website yet, MCG at $397/mo (which doesn't include SERP or AI) is a better fit until you've built out a website foundation.

Five of the seven components still work perfectly: audit, GBP optimization, citations, GBP CTR, SERP CTR, and AI CTR all apply to SABs without modification.

The one exception is DriveForge Advanced — it requires a visible physical address for the GPS arrival signal. If you're an SAB, DriveForge doesn't activate, which reduces the package's map pack signal depth somewhat.

For SABs, MCG is actually usually the better bundle fit because you're paying the same price either way and getting less DriveForge value. The Omnipresence upgrade only makes sense for SABs if the Google Search + AI platform layers are specifically important for your buyer research cycle (common for SAB consulting, B2B professional services, higher-ticket SABs).

We recommend a minimum 90-day commitment because the full stack takes 60-90 days to reach steady-state across all four platforms — a 30-day test only shows you the Maps and Gemini results, not the full SERP and ChatGPT impact. But you're never locked in.

USA, UK, Canada, and Australia. Our mobile device infrastructure operates on local carrier networks in those four markets. Signals originating from other countries' carrier patterns would not match what Google and AI platforms expect for local businesses in these four markets.
